    Hello idanka,

    just to make sure I got you wright.

    What you want to do is:
    Upload your images to WordPress in jpg format
    Convert jpg to webp (so you have both formats then)
    Make WordPress show the webp images on FF or chrome using wp-webp
    Make WordPress show jpg images on safari

    and last but not least teaching W3C to cache both of them (which should work autmatically as far as I know the W3C plugin)

    correct?
