I’ve logged your vote for this feature request with our product planning team so they will review it when planning new features for the plugin. I can’t say when (or if) this will make it onto our development roadmap, so I’d recommend keeping an eye on the changelog
and our email newsletter for regular development updates.

I can definitely understand your point of view here and our team is considering this feature request seriously. Having said that, we do prioritize new features based on the number of merchants seeking similar functionality and are constantly working on adding new features and enhancements to our many plugins.

At this time we haven’t received enough requests to add Google Pay to our upcoming roadmap for PayPal Powered by Braintree but our product team is constantly reviewing enhancement requests and prioritizing tasks for our developers to work on next, so this may make it to the roadmap in the future!
