The last update didn’t fix this, text & icon is not showing in the button.
Hello @soylaostia
I’d be glad to help! This is most likely an issue with the way your site is set up.
I’d like to better understand your site. Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your response.
Possibly the theme or a plugin is overriding the button.
The report is ok.
But I noticed you use this unit in the button:
.GooglePayButton-logo {padding: 27.5vh 7.375vw;
Instead of, for example
padding: 10px (this works ok)
Is there any special reason for this?
Hi @soylaostia,
There is no special reason for the CSS code. We try to use the best coding standard. I’m not sure exactly where you located that snippet but feel free to customize it to suit your need.
If you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
I didn’t put it anywhere, that ccs style sheet is apparently not in the plugin folder, so it’s not solved yet.
Can you tell me where can I modify that css?
@battouly how this is solved ?
The WordPress customizer can be used for custom CSS snippets. https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/CSS
That CSS stylesheet is not in the plugin folder.
Hey @soylaostia
If you can share a link to your site, we can take a look and see what might be wrong here.
Thank you @soylaostia!
I didn’t notice anything just from looking at the site. Again the system status report would be helpful just to see if there could be anything in the setup.
You mentioned that you followed the steps in this thread: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/google-pay-button-not-showing-on-checkout-page/
Did you also try a conflict test? This kind of problem could be caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
The best way to determine this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Stripe
- See if the Google Pay button shows
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
Hi,
I changed to the storefront theme and the button image is there. Looks like is my theme. My theme uses WPBakery builder.
Hi @soylaostia,
I’m so glad you narrowed it down! You will want to contact your theme’s support for help with the issue. I found the WPBakery support link here. I hope they can help you sort it out! If not, you can take a look at the themes on our marketplace here.
