I am trying to link google reviews for the first time on a WP website (still under construction hence no link) using the Divi theme. I’ve set up the Places API but google is asking me to enable billing as i get an error otherwise.
What I need to know is will I get charged to use the widget if it uses the Places API i created.

If anyone can explain why I have to activate billing on Google to use the free plugin, I’d be very grateful.

Google gives $200 credits to use the API and it’s enough to use the plugin (for free) and connect several Google places. Unfortunately, it’s a limitation of Google, not us or the plugin.
