Hi!

I wonder how we can get the Google Product Category to show ‘201 – Apparel & Accessories’ instead of only ‘201’ in the feed?

Is there a setting we are missing?

Google only accepts the numeric or textual category names, see:
https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324436?hl=en

Our plugin adds the category number.

Ok, and if we want to have the textual category names instead we will have to change to another plugin?

Yes, our plugin unfortunately does not support that.
