Google Search Console : Mobile Usability error (clickable elements too close)
-
Dear developper, magazine3,
My google search console alerted me to a mobile usability error (clickable elements too close). It took me a long time to figure out which clickable elements were at fault.
It was by deactivating the “Easy Table of Contents” extension and then running a new validation test that the error was corrected in my Google Search Console. It seems the html blocks that make up the table of contents are not spaced far enough apart.
This Google usability issue only affects the mobile view. But it is certain that this affects or will affect all WordPress site using “Easy Table of Contents”.Because I would prefer not to add CSS to solve this, my question is : in the admin panel of “Easy Table of Contents”, would it be possible to allow to define a spacer value for the
<ul>and<li>elements ?
This would 1) allow more custom settings. 2) meet requirement of mobile usability by Google.
