Google search indexing

    How long should it take for Google to index my WordPress site? Its been about a week sense I requested it and so far nothing shows up when I search. My web site is:

    http://livingston-chess.org

    Well, according to Google:

    “It is possible for a site to be crawled/indexed within 4 days to 4 weeks.
    In some cases, it may take longer.”

    Nothing appears in search ? Have you registered a sitemap and in webmaster use fetch for a few pages. This appears to speed things up for me

    You can also ping them. I use pingler to ping my links. It kinda speeds up the process for my sites.
