Google Sheets row limitation

I have sampled this plugin and find it amazing. For me to be able to use it though I need to overcome an issue that relates to the number of rows the plugin can handle from the google sheets. I have tested it and the web page will not load if the sheet has more than 5000 rows. Is this normal? or is there a fix/work-a-round. I have a goods inwards register we maintain on google sheets with approx 50,000 lines on it. We need to be able to search these from time to time.
