For the uninstall issue which you encountered the latest release of the plugin (v1.1.1) should address that. You will find it here.

@bijayk97 Just to let you know we’ve made improvements to the plugin since its early releases, including changes to the verification process and a standard uninstall process, issues which you’ve helped identify previously.
We’ve also added a feedback option within the plugin. It would be great to hear how you find the latest version of the plugin, and whether you’re able to connect as expected.
