Hi stevebenthal,
Can you please confirm if the original published date of the front page is Nov 30, 2017? If so, Yoast SEO snippet preview reads the published date of the page or post it actually has.
No I built the site this year.
I don’t know why it would pick up Nov 30, 2017.

Hi,
We looked at https://fikratravelmorocco.com/ and we can see Yoast is outputting a datePublished schema with that date here: https://ibb.co/1zZpDkC. That is the date that may appear next to the link Google. We understand you are not sure where the date is coming from. We would like some more information.
1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?
2. We had another recent release. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v15.2.1? If you update, does the issue resolve?
3. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.5.3? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.
4. If you look at the sidebar do you see any date information? It might be under publish. See attached for what it might look like: https://ibb.co/z4s8rWQ
Hi,
Thanks for your quick response.
1. Yes all themes/plugins are up to date.
2. Yoast is Version 15.2.1
3. WordPress is 5.5.3
4. You were right! I don’t know how it got set to that date. I changed it.

Any thoughts on changing this image?

I read somewhere that it picks up that last image in your media library so I added the logo to see if that would do it.

Thanks,

@stevebenthalgmailcom Thanks for confirming that you were able to update the published date.
As for the image, you can set this by setting the Featured image for the page. To do so you would need to perform the following steps:
• In WordPress, go to the Edit screen for a page
• In the right side options, click on ‘Document’
• Expand the ‘Featured Image’ option (see image here)
• Click ‘Set featured image’ to browse to or upload an image
• Click ‘Update’
Thank you, you were all very helpful.
Steve
