First, are you able to take a video of what you are seeing? You can use Loom to record and share a link to your video on this thread.
Second, can you please tell me if you are seeing any console errors when you go to Stories in the WP admin? To view console errors:
- Open the Chrome browser
- Go to the page where you’re having trouble
- Right-click anywhere and select Inspect
- Click on the Console tab
- Take a screenshot and share here. The forums do not support screenshot uploads, so you can share one via a link generated by Imgur or JumpShare.

I am having the same issues if I try to edit or add a new story.
I can publish a story from quick edit, but since I’ve been down since the update on Friday, I just pubbed my last one.
I tried incognito and got the same result. Most everything was working fine before the update.
