    Hello,

I’m using the Product Feed Pro plugin to create a feed for Google Shopping. Everything is fine, except a small, strange behaviour when creating the categories mapping.

So, I add the Google categories mapping to my shop categories, but after a certain category (matisse) and all other categories listed after Matisse, the mapping is not saved.

I add the correct mapping, click save and when the page refreshes, the mapping is empty for these categories. If I make any changes to any category above Matisse, the change is saved. Its like there is a ‘limit’ as to how many categories you can map.

I have tried typing and selecting the google category and copying form the parent with both arrows.

    Any idea what is happening?

The Product feed Pro is at the last update, while WordPress is v6.7.5 and WooCommerce is v9.8.3. I know they are outdated but we can not update it now.

    Hi @dimiro93 ,

For reference how many categories are you trying to map? In most cases, we don’t limit this so I think it might be due to your plugins/site being outdated.

Could you please check what happens when all your themes and plugins are updated to the latest version and see if that fixes it?

Also, do try some basic debug to check for any conflicts. Do this by only having Woocommerce, storefront theme and product feed pro plugin

Just checking to see if you have managed to fix this as I am having the same issue? I only discovered it when testing a new feed on Pinterest with a random sample as it highlighted that one record didn’t have a category.

I seem to get approx 250 categories populated then the rest are empty and go back to empty if I try and populate the missing ones and save it.

I am using 13.5.2.2 on WordPress 6.9.4 and WooCommerce 10.5.3.

I have checked a feed that I set up months ago and realised that has the same issue.

    Hello,

@autobrochuresnz I didn’t manage to fix the issue and since Google accepted the feed as is, I didn’t give anymore efford.

@superlemon1998 There are about 200 categories. Unfortunatelly, I can’t run any updates or disable plugins to test, since I’m working on a live site.
