Hi @sofiataz,
I have not yet looked at this plugin. Is this the one you’re referring to?

Hi @sofiataz,
I had a quick look. The cookies don’t seem to be an issue, they are likely cookies that store your language preference. The issue is every page load there’s an API call to translate.googleapis.com and content from google.com, gstatic.com, and translate.google.com is loaded to make translations possible….and maybe unnecessary processing or storage of non-functional data.
For the latter, I need to do some research. Blocking translate.google.com and translate.googleapis.com will most likely render the service useless.
I think this will fall in the category of reCaptcha and Google Fonts, as explained here: https://complianz.io/google-recaptcha-and-the-gdpr-a-possible-conflict/
Will get back to you if I know more,

Hi @sofiataz,
We’re working on an integration. We just need some help from their end.
We can deny the API and loading of cookies. We just need some user feedback, so people know they can use the option after accepting cookies.
For that, we would need a class, instead of the ID’s their using in their stylesheets. I will ask on their support forum to see if they can help,
