Google Universal Analytics

Hi,
I figured using Universal Analytics option in the plugin supported Demographic data gathering by Google Analytics. However, when I try to view Demographic data within the Google Analytics dashboard, I get this line:
Your Demographics and Interest Reports have been enabled, but your Analytics tracking code does not include the necessary support to show them. Learn more about the simple, one-line, one-time change to your tracking code to add this support.

Is there any way to add this line using the plugin or will this require me to manually add it into my theme?
