    Greetings and thank you for any help anyone might give:

    Can anyone please answer this:

    I have recently changed the permalink settings of a WordPress web site from the “standard” to the “pretty” format; I am wondering now what, if anything, I should do within Google Webmaster Tools:

    1) Request removal from Google’s index of those old URLS
    2) Nothing
    3) Something else?

    Thank you again for any help or feedback, even if the feedback is to tell me that this question would have better been posted in Google Webmaster Tools forum

    Option (2) – Nothing. WordPress will handle the old urls just fine in this case and Google will update its index shortly.
