i am getting these message from google webmaster tools

Googlebot couldn’t crawl this URL because it points to a non-existent page. Generally, 404s don’t harm your site’s performance in search, but you can use them to help improve the user experience.

i cant understand what is going on with this page, its ment to have info for an rss feed i want to install but my head hurts from trying to understand/fix it

    please help

can i say i am a newbi to this and it is my first site =]

what is the root .htaccess file?

    esmi

    (@esmi)

It’s a file (sometimes hidden from FTP software by default) that contains server instructions. In WordPress, you need an .htaccess file in your main (root) WordPress folder to use custom (pretty) permalinks. If you’re having problems locating an .htaccess file in your main site folder, then you may need to ask your hosts for assistance.

I’m sorry to hear that. They don’t sound like good hosts. 🙁

Unfortunately there’s a limit to the help we can give here, so you may need to consider hiring someone to carry out some troubleshooting for you.
