Just updated to the latest version today, but got a blank page with one word “error” the whole site, can’t even get into back end area. After restore data, got the whole site back and deactivated iThemes Security plugin, everything back to normal.

I really love to use this plugin, but it caused so many problems, can’t even figure out what’s going on.

Guess, I have to deactivate it, at least for now.

Hi, when you see “error” that’s message that you were locked out due to either too many 404 requests or bad password attempts or IP blacklisted.

If you’re brave, you can follow my instructions to reset database entries for this plugin and once you activate it again, everything should work. Want to make sure you keep your site’s security up and running, very important.

yup, this update to BWS is very problematic.
