Got HTTP ERROR when trying to insert image into post

    I’m having problem to insert image from my pc to my wordpress 2.8 on a live host.

    I’m already read the sticky note, which was posted year ago, and tried all suggestions such as add .htaccess file, use very small size image, get latest flash 10…., but still no luck 🙁

    Please, post here the solution if it works for you and different from the sticky note.

    Have you tried chmoding the /wp-content and all uploads folders under it to 777, then upload an image and chmod the folders back to 755 for security?

    yes, already tried that, even 777 all the way to the root of wordpress folder just for testing 🙁

    actually, just find out that I can NOT upload any file that has filesize greater than 60KB but no problem when test 2.8 locally, so I will contact my host to see what wrong there

    will post back if find out anything unusual

    actually, the original image already uploaded but fail to create the thumbnails every time I’ve got HTTP Error

    does anyone know what wrong and how to fix it?

    Finally, the problem is solved and the main reason is my host mainly use php4, and after switching to php5, I no longer have problem to insert images 😉
