    I’ve edited confirmation.php.

    1) My Menus become unreadable if I have a page with the short code. Currently see this issue at http://s2pmarketsignal.com/WordPress/current-sand-2-pirls-market-signal/

    2) I logged into my site as my test user, got the message asking for bitcoin payment, clicked the box to say I had already sent bitcoins, then logged out as that user. Without being logged in, I go to the page with the GoUrl short code, and although only the page title is visible, there is no prompting for either bitcoin or site membership registration. Normally with PMP installed I would have my custom page excerpt visible and a site registration prompt. When I log back in as my test user and go back to the test page, only the page title is visible, and there is no prompt of any kind, so no opportunity to correct my GoUrl registration issue. And my menus are not readable.

Yes, it should work as on this website – http://www.coinstreetnews.com/2014/12/basic-membership-payments/

    Please do following –
    1) Disable all other WordPress plugins
    2) Remove all check-box ticks on Pay-Per-Membership settings page.

If problem still exists, please send us screenshots and your WordPress theme details on our email
    https://gourl.io/view/contact/Contact_Us.html

We will test your WordPress theme if it compatible or not.

I was able to solve the menu issue by simply unchecking the menu and title option check boxes on the GoUrl Membership Settings page. Now I will have to work through my 20+ plugins to find the conflict blocking prompting for membership of users not logged in to the site.

Thanks for the example site. However, I see that when viewed with my Firefox 37.0.2 browser, it has the same menu issue as my site previously had.

They use option – “Hide Menu Titles” on settings page. If box is checked, unpaid users will not see any titles on premium pages.

Alternatively, you can use PaidMembershipsPro with Bitcoin Gateway https://gourl.io/bitcoin-payments-paid-memberships-pro.html

Yes, I use PMP with the GoUrl Bitcoin gateway.

I simply didn’t know what hidden titles and menus looked like. Maybe you should show some screenshots in your documentation.

It seems like your system uses cookies for access. I use PMP’s pay by membership option because I want to require site login for tracking purposes, but I don’t see my site login prompt on the page I am using to test using the GoUrl short code for access.

It will take me some time to work through the plugins to find the conflict that is stopping the “Waiting for payment from you” screen from appearing.

We have added screenshots for Pay-Per-Membership settings page. Update your plugin.

Pay-Per-Membership shortcodes are not compatible with external Paid Membership Pro plugin (different membership systems). Please use one of them only.

Thanks for explaining, but that’s too bad. As I mentioned above, PMP offers pages outside of the WP profile.php that I much prefer. In fact, via another plugin, I have access to profile.php disabled for non-admins. If I go with GoUrl, I will need to use that instead of PMP’s custom pages, and I don’t like that. I am not sure how much success I will have using ONLY the GoUrl Bitcoin / altcoin payment method. I will have to try it and see once I have the plugin conflict eliminated.

    Thanks for your help.

I don’t see that the GoUrl plugin is updatable yet. At any rates, its just Help info you are updating.

Unless I am mistaken I now understand that PMP’s membership system is not compatible with GoUrl’s membership system, so you really should remove PMP from your list of compatible plugins for the GoUrl gateway.

Ok, we speak about two Membership systems (not GoUrl Bitcoin Payment Gateway).

    You can use –
    1) PMP with our PMP addon (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/gourl-bitcoin-paid-memberships-pro/)
    or
    2) Pay-Per-Membership shortcode

Therefore you can use one of two membership systems – Paid Memberships Pro or Pay-Per-Membership shortcodes. Please use one of them only (not both) on your website, because these different membership systems are not compatible.

I don’t see that the GoUrl plugin is updatable yet.

    Delete plugin and install again

OK. Once I eliminated my one PMP defined paid subscription (that agreed perfectly with the GoUrl defined paid description), it appears to be working –sort of. Unfortunately the GoUrl bitcoin paid subscription is not listed on the PMP Membership Levels page and the only way to sign up for a paid subscription is to go to the membership area (page) itself. Not really what I would call good integration with the PMP system.

Definitely some room for improvement here, but its better than nothing. I think.

Please send us screenshots, we will improve integration GoUrl and PMP systems. You can select Gourl Bitcoin Gateway by default in PMP.

I have posted the following via my GoUrl account at https://gourl.io/view/contact/Contact_Us.html (your link above.)

Integration with the WP PMP interface needs to be improved.

I can’t provide you screenshots here. There is no way to do that.

PMP provides pages for users to view and maintain (change/renew) their membership level. I have GoUrl set as the default payment gateway, but the GoUrl membership option is not shown on these screens. Just go to http://s2pmarketsignal.com/WordPress and go through the account creation experience to see what I mean.

I realize that you are using WP’s profile.php, but I use PMP’s membership maintenance pages instead, since they are much simpler and maintain the look and feel of the site. Most users are not familiar with viewing their account via WP’s profile.php, so to prevent confusion I block it (via WP plugin) except for site admins.

We replied you directly by email and sent you instructions. Problem resolved 🙂

    Thread Starter dlpirl

    (@dlpirl)

yes. for anyone learning from the above issue… its all about instructions. The GoUrl gateway is compatible with the PMP membership system. The GoUrl membership system (the shortcode) is NOT compatible with the PMP membership system. So… can’t use the GoUrl shortcodes with PMP.
