    Hi Tom,

    I’m starting a new website at http://mapenterprises.info/

    I’ve made the .mp4 to be 1100 px wide but I want my layout to be 960px.

    I can make the nav bar and footer extend the width of the page but I can’t seem to make the .mp4 extend. It is confined to the 960px.

    It seems to me that I had this issue before and you told me to put it in another another box, and that worked, but it isn’t working this time. What am I missing?

    Hi there,

    By looking in your CSS, you’ve defined the width of the .mp4 to be 960px in a couple places. Once within the element itself with an inline style, and again inside the Simple Custom CSS plugin.

    You should just be able to adjust those values and it will be whatever width you like.

    Oh for heaven’s sake. Please forgive my stupidity! I build a lot of sites on this domain name when I’m proposing to a client, and it was left from a previous site. My sincere apologies. I should have picked up on that one myself.
