    I’m trying to upload gpx files to the media library on my site so that users can download them and use them to follow a walk. When I tried first it said I was not allowed to upload the .gpx file type. I installed this plugin and added .gpx to the allowed file types. However it still says I’m not allowed upload this file type. Am I doing something wrong?

    When you get a chance, could you share one of the .gpx files you are trying to upload? I can check the MIME type and suggest a workaround. You can upload it to an online drive and share a public link here.

    I replied to your email attaching an example of the file I was having a problem with. Maybe my email went into spam? There does not seem to be an option here to attach a file.

    Hi @macanucaire,

    Thank you for the update. Since there is no option to attach files here on WordPress support, please try uploading the .gpx file to an online drive (for example Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive) and share a public link here. I can then check the MIME type and suggest a workaround.
