I’m trying to grant my writer access to create tables using the tablepress plugin but she is still not seeing the plugin on her screen. Per prior forum posts on this topic, I have tried updating user role capabilities and have the following marked:

Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Those are not the correct capabilities here, I’m afraid (these are only internal ones for the “Custom Post Types”, but TablePress also uses other ones). Please see https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/tablepress-admin-capabilites-problems/#post-3524864 for the full list of capabilities that you should use.

Thanks for the quick response. Where do I go in WordPress to activate these capabilities for TablePress? I am unable to locate the full list of capabilities.

I went ahead and attempted to grant my writer “admin” access but when I “test this user” I’m still not seeing she has access to TablePress.

Hi,

you could do this with a user role editor plugin, like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/members/ or similar. WordPress itself doesn’t have a functionality for that.
