I use a number of Woocommerce add ons on my website. It’s not uncommon for support engineers of the different add ons to request admin access to my website to troubleshoot the problem.

I need advise on how best do I go about this without relying solely on trust? Security for now and the future is important.

  • Hi there @ziso,

    Thank you for reaching out

We understand your concern about security when providing admin access to support engineers.

To ensure security, you can consider using a staging site, which is a clone of your live site. You can give the support team access to this site instead of your live site. This not only protects your live site but also allows the team to troubleshoot without affecting your business operations.

Remember to always back up your site before providing any sort of access. This way, you can restore your site to its previous state if anything goes wrong.

    I hope this helps.
