I have run into two issues with the Gravity Forms Tooltip plugin:

    1. It stopped working when I upgraded to Gravity Forms 5.9
    2. The plugin is enqueuing polyfill from pollyfill.io which no longer exists. This enqueue causes some browsers to pause around 30 seconds until the enqueue fails.

I know it has been 3 years since this plugin has been updated. Is it still being supported? Any chance for an update. It is a great plugin when it works.

Hi @millermultimedia , extremely sorry to hear about this. Although I have not worked in this plugin for a long time since I haven’t got such issue reports like this one that you have submitted. Thank you for that. I will again work on this and publish an update for the latest gravity forms.

That would be great. I downloaded and installed a copy of the pollyfill script into the public/js folder in your plugin and then modified the enqueue to point to it. That resolved the broken link, which by the way was causing a load time issue primarily with MS Edge browsers. Localizing it resolved the error and the load time.

Hi @millermultimedia , you will be glad to know that I have published a new version of the plugin that works with the latest version of Gravity Forms. Although your post says “Gravity Forms 5.9 Breaking Plugin”, gravity forms has no such version as 5.9. As of today the latest version is 2.9.5.

Let me know if the issues have been resolved for you. If they are resolved, I would love to have a rating from you that will help this plugin gain more visibility 🙂 Thank you again!

    Hi,

I’ve tried to update this plugin to the last version and it doesn’t work. With the previous version 2.9 and Gravity Forms 2.9.7.2 it worked, despite the warning about pollyfill script, but with 3.0 the tooltips I had configured in my forms just disappear.

Could be a problem with the new WordPress version? There is a notice in wordpress repository about not being tested with the current WordPress version.

    Thank you!

Hi @isasu88 , so sorry to hear this. I will be glad to resolve your issue. Can you provide a link of a form where tooltip is not showing? It will help me quickly find the issue. Thanks

Hi @mehbubrashid, thank you for answering quickly.

I’ve realized it is in radiobutton fields where tooltips are not working. In some other fields it works. I have tried in a clean WordPress with the default theme and no extra plugins or code and it is not working in radio button fields either.

    Here is an example: https://test.dabne.net/?page_id=7

    Thank you!

Hi @isasu88 , thank you for the link. I can see the issue now. Looks like gravity forms using <legend> tag instead of <label> in case of radio fields. I will work on it to make support <legend tag as well and publish an update.

    Hi @mehbubrashid,

Thanks for the update. I have tested with the latest version of Gravity Forms and WordPress and all is working. I did notice that you still have Console Logs enabled in gravity-forms-tooltip-public.js so your plugin is sending out quite a bit of data to the console.

@mehbubrashid It works perfect. Thank you very much for the quick update. I will leave a review.
I also noticed the messages in the console @millermultimedia says.

Thank you @millermultimedia for letting me know about the logs. They have been removed as well in latest 3.0.2.
