Gravity Forms "From email" field

    Hi,

    I am using Gravity Forms and I have set the ‘From Name’ and ‘From Email’ to the value of the fields submitted by the user.

    However, when I receive the emails, what appears are the entries I set under the Message tab of Post Man. I’ve unchecked the option that says ‘Prevent plugins from overriding this’, but it still doesn’t work. Is there any way to get around this?

    This functionality is dependent on your mail server. For example, Gmail does NOT allow forged From Addresses, however Mandrill does.

    If you check the Session Transcript in your email log for the email in question, you can see whether Postman sent the correct values to the server in the From field. If it did, you have confirmed that the From address is being modified on the Server.
