Gravity Forms with User Moderation Emails

I have installed Gravity Form with the intention of registering new users, my goal is to have them register using a gravity form then an email be sent to the site admin to notify of the registration with an approval link that when clicked will change the user role from pending to active.

The approval functions can be handled with the Theme My Login plugin as it add use moderation and custom email functionality. The only problem is that it conflict with gravity forms.

I have been able to get the custom email functions to work for the most part using the info found in this link

However i am unable to get the Theme My Login moderation function to work and send out an approval email… any ideas?
