    Why is this plugin necessary? When you create a post and insert a link, you can just check the “open link in a new window/tab” box.

    and there is that problem, not all plugins provide this:
    “open link in a new window/tab” box.

    It’s basic wordpress functionality if we are talking links in posts and pages.

    Hi Jakob,
    yes it´s basic in wordpress itself, but not basic in all plugins,
    if you don´t need this plugin here, it´s ok,
    but I need it and happy to have found it,
