    The webP format offers a high compression rate, resulting in smaller image sizes while maintaining high quality.

    The plugin hooks into image requests and automatically converts JPEG, PNG, BMP, and GIF into the webP format, thereby saving bandwidth. Once converted, subsequent requests are sent to the webP pendant.

    This process is running in the background – without any configuration.
    Activate the plugin and turn on the conversion – that’s it.

    As a plus, the plugin can scan the entire uploads folder for images and display file statistics.
