Great install/no functionality

    I have at this point done 5 clean installs and all have had the same exact result. I tried with both version 1.5.1.2 and 1.5.1.3 database population is great, I can login everything is perfect except….

    I can’t do anything, nothing! I try to change config setting and the changes don’t take effect. I try to write a post but when I hit the publish button it just goes back to a blank post box. I try to edit or add a catagory but no changes take place.

    I find the behavior very odd, as a clean install works perfect. Database tables are setup and the page functions, I just can’t update. The admin login and password work and I login, but I can’t change or add a thing.

    MySQL 4.1
    PHP 5.0.4
    Apache 2

    Any ideas?

    Yuck!

    come on WordPress I have to turn on “register_globals” in php. Thats ugly!

    anyways this fixes the issue

    WordPress doesn’t require register_globals to be on. That may have fixed the problem, but I suspect there is another issue.
