Particularly notable are:
– Subscribe to Event Calendar on Apple Calendar, Google etc, this is a killer feature, works very well
– Events are custom posts readily compatible with other standard wordpress features, eg themes that make use of post Featured Image, work with your events out-of-the-box, no hack needed
– the variety of different views, all of high quality, and the flexible shortcodes available for adding different and filtered events views to different pages

These comments are not made lightly: I tested several other Calendar tools and used one of them for a while before finding and switching to this one.
