great plugin with one problem

    its a perfect plugin for having ur own forum on ur webpage

    only problem i have and i cant figure out is when starting a new forum and writing some text in the html editor – it wont show up when open the forum page

    that really sucks

    A forum description should show up where you would see the forum in a list like in the forum index, or in another forum if you have a hierarchy of forums.

    You can switch to a default WordPress theme to see if possibly your theme author has added custom bbPress templates and left out the forum description code.

    If you encounter any other issues make sure to go to https://bbpress.org/forums/ , login with your WordPress credentials, then create a topic in one of the forums.
