• I downloaded the Caldera Form plugin and created a form. There is no ‘submit’ button at the bottom of the form so when a user fills out the form, there is no way to submit it. I have scoured the site for information on this and can only find information saying that if I want support I have to pay for a plug in. I need the basic form to work, then we can discuss adding on other elements. But the first and most basic test is to ensure the form works in its simplest form. I am not a big fan of paying $120 annually or buying plug ins at $70+ each just to get this question answered.

Question is – how do you add a ‘Submit’ button? Where is that functionality added?

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. If you click the Add Field button, the field chooser pops up. One of the options in the baisc category is a button field.

We always recommend people start with one of our form templates so they can see how our system works. We all have a complete getting started guides here: https://calderaforms.com/getting-started/

We definitely do not charge for submit buttons or anything silly like that. In fact, our free plugin has more field types that most of the other popular form plugins.

I hope you give it another try with one of the form templates and consider changing this review based on that experience.
