Great shortcode-free plugin

What I really like about this plugin is that it does not use shortcodes but HTML. That’s great because if you use shortcodes and you have to disable the plugin in the future, you will get the ugly shortcode there in the middle of your content. That’s why I NEVER use any plugin shortcodes in my posts.

This plugin, on the other hand, adds the icons HTML. That means that it’s future proof: if you had to disable the plugin one day, the icons would simply disappear without a trace. And if you added again Font Awesome support via functions.php or another plugin, the icons would appear again (because the HTML stayed in the content all the time).

I really hope this plugin gets updated, since it’s the only Font Awesome plugin I want to use.
