Straightforward way to selectively add code where ever needed. This is also a useful way for clients to access such features without editing the theme files.

One issue with at least the Divi theme can be that code that is sensitive to DOM location may be not be added high enough in the header or low enough in the footer, in which theme files need to be edited.
