Grid Layout?

Hello. Let me start by saying I am incredibly new to WordPress, and website creation in general. I’m trying to make a team page for my roller derby team, but the layout is all wrong. I get one column with the photos one per row vertically. I’d like to have 2 or 3 photos per row. Is there a way to fix this? I’d really appreciate any help. Thanks!
