edit this CSS seems to work – still interested to know whether you are going to add this to the free theme though 🙂
.entry-content > .wp-block-group.alignwide.has-background, .entry-content > .wp-block-group.alignfull.has-background, .entry-content > .wp-block-cover.alignwide, .entry-content > .wp-block-cover.alignfull, .entry-content > .wp-block-columns.has-background.alignwide, .entry-content > .wp-block-columns.has-background.alignfull {padding: <values in here>}
Hi @cgreen177,
We are sorry for the delay.
This is probably just me that don’t clearly understand your query. However, when I checked the default Twenty-Twenty theme, I didn’t see the option to configure the Padding just like what we can see in the doc you shared above. Please have a look at this screenshot.
Or does the Group Block in that article have Padding options because it is WordPress.com and we are using is ww.wp.xz.cn?
Looking forward to hearing from you and let me know what I missed.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂

Hi Herman
It’s the 2021 theme that introduces this functionality – see here: https://imgur.com/DCBf4iP
I checked 2020 and can’t see it there either 🙂
Edit: both using ww.wp.xz.cn

Hi @cgreen177,
You were right, I can see it on the 2021 theme.
As of now, the same option is not available on the Astra theme. However, I will bring this to our team and we’ll see if it is feasible to add it in future updates.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂
