I am creating a ordering menu, one of the product sections on the menu is bagels. There are different flavors. I created a grouped product and added all the bagel flavors (in whole wheat and regular) to the list. I want to allow for a discount based upon the amounts ordered. (a dozen at a discounted price) how do I do that with a grouped product. would that be an automatic coupon or is there another way to do that which is better?

Hi @benmackler, if you’d like to automatically provide a coupon to customers who order a dozen bagels, you can do that using a plugin. You can read about some of the options here.

Alternatively, you can provide a coupon code as a notice on your site and set it up to be limited to the bagel products for a minimum cart total (not just the cost of the bagels in the cart). Also, users will have to add the coupon code on checkout, and it will apply to all the bagels in the cart once the minimum cart total is met.

Mix and Match Products, for example will provide you with an elegant solution to offer a discount for sets of 12 bagels.
