Even more impressive opportunity is adding tags and categories (including user-added ie new taxonomies ) geographical locations. As is done in the plugin map-my-posts. Then it is very convenient to operate – add a category tag to the post – they appear on the map selected taxonomy. Plus of course all the features of the professional version – clusters and so on
categories
tags
user added
ports(tags)
Then use the shortcode with parameter taxonomy=ports. After that will be displayed google map with points of this taxonomy when clicking on a point that will display all the posts associated with that taxonomy
Hello @selftrips-ru,
In the current version of the plugin, the points are associated to the posts (and pages), and the posts can have assigned taxonomies, and finally, to use the taxonomies for filtering the posts whose points would be displayed on the map, however, if you want to insert in the infowindows of the points the links to the taxonomies pages, you should insert them directly into the points’ descriptions, for example:
<a href="http://www.yourwebsite.com/ports/port-term">Port Term</a>
For a different solution would be required a customization of your copy of the plugin. If the feature is really important to your project, I can offer you a custom coding service, through my personal website:

Best regards.
Of course it can be done. Just feel the difference.
If you have 100 posts about Paris, you need to insert 100 times the point of Paris in Every post, instead of 1 time to enter in the tag “Paris”.

Hello @selftrips-ru,
Yes, I understand what you say, however, the feature is not included in the current version of the plugin, and would be required customize your copy of the plugin, I’m sorry.
Best regards.
