Is this plugin compatible to Gutenberg?
I just tried it out and my Video-Block is unchanged. Or am I missing something here?
Can’t go back to classic-Editor however I tried a classic block. It seems like this plugin will only work with shortcodes?

Yes, it’s compatible with Gutenberg, just put a [video] shortcode in a shortcode block. All settings are made in the switch video quality metaboxes below the editor. And be sure to toggle the on/off switch.
