• Thanks to Gutenberg I have now twice more work when editing posts.
Despite its nicer design, the interface is absolutely not user-friendly nor intuitive.
For example, I past a text (I have 50 posts a month to publish) I have to click to go inside a (title) block. I have to click another time to select the feature I want (<H>) and now I have to go on the right side bar to click for the third time in order to select H1!
    What the F—!
We have to click every collapsed section in the sidebar to open them in order to see what is hidden.
Click here, click there and re-click here, we spend our time to clik everywhere and you call it a progress?
No serioulsy this must be a joke, give me back my former interface I was much more efficient with it than your 5.0 revolution.
Tech guys… help us don’t give us troubles!

PLEASE LET FINAL USERS CHOOSE WITH A SINGLE OPTION IN THE GENERAL SETTINGS BETWWEEN CLASSIC EDITOR VS GUTENBERG. I IMPLORE YOU PLEASE.

  • Or, with all due respect, you could learn how to do things in Gutenberg. For example, your H1 problem:

First of all, the first block is the title block, that’s the only H1 you should have in your post; that’s not me or WordPress or Gutenberg, it’s how Google likes things.

Back to the headings, you can use Markdown to change to headings very fast: type “##” and a space in a empty block to change to H2, “###” and a space to change to H3, and the same up to H6. If you really have to use another H1, which I don’t recommend (nobody will do BTW), type a H2 and now yes, you’ll have to click on H1 in the right bar. There’s a reason it kind of “difficult” to find it, and the way I see it, it is there to protect the post from having more than one H1.

And in case you don’t like Gutenberg at all – which is perfectly OK- install Disable Gutenberg by Jeff Starr and voilá, Gutenberg is gone. Don’t install Classic Editor, it has some links to Gutenberg.

    Hope it helps.

Thank you very very much Orlando Alonzo.
