It seems that the question has been asked here before. But for me there is no solution. Apparently the Gutenbeg editor is not supported. I can only work with the old editor. How can I activate Gutenberg? I have no old editor plugin active. Theme is Astra Theme.

  • Hi,
our plugin works git gutenberg as we offers also blocks in the premium version.
What are the issues you are facing?

Gutenberg is not there at all. I can only work with the classic old editor. That is the problem.

I have no idea how to get rid of the old editor and work with Gutenberg. Otherwise I can work with Gutenberg everywhere. Only not in the Glossary Plugin.

So just let me see if I understood.
You have installed Classic Editor and in some post types you have Classic editor and in others the new one?
Because that plugin as an option that let you set what post type have to use the classic or the gutenberg. When the Classic editor plugin is enabled just disable Gutenberg in all the post types.

No I have not installed the old editor. I don’t have a plugin for it either. That’s why I wonder why I can only work with it.
I only work with Gutenberg. I also don’t use Elementor or anything like that.

If the plugin is installed and active it will automatic replace gutenberg.
    Do you have enabled it?

Yes of course the plugin is activated. I’m testing it out right now.
Everything seems to work so far. Only Gutenberg not.

If on Glossary post types there is the classic editor instead of Gutenberg it is not our plugin fault but something on the classic editor settings or maybe a filter in your code that enable it, as we don’t do anything for that (I have various instances with gutenberg and classic editor together and works).
