Gutenberg only

I’m experiencing an issue where notifications from OneSignal work automatically only when I publish an article using the Gutenberg editor. However, when articles are submitted through third-party plugins, such as a front-end submission plugin, the notifications don’t work. How can I fix this so that notifications are triggered regardless of how the content is published?
