    Hi:

Yesterday I was working on a site in MAMP and it was fine. Today I get an “Unexpected Error” on pages and templates – couldn’t do anything. Switched from GreenShift theme which is what I’m using to Twenty Twentythree. No help. Turned off all the plugins and started turning them back on – the culprit was the Gutenberg plugin (version 16.3.0). Turned it off and could work on stuff again. It also want back to: Templates and Template-parts which I like better than the Patterns thing. What’s going on?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Also worth noting: I’m working on a template with the Gutenberg plugin OFF and when I make a change to a template-part THERE’S A HANDY SAVE BUTTON RIGHT THERE! When I had Gutenberg activated before it started throwing errors I had the Patterns stuff instead of the nice simple Templates and Template Parts and when I changed something in a template-part I then had to click the icon at the top to leave the template part to be able to hit save. Don’t know the logic of that but it’s annoying.

Hi @vytaulla51 – thanks for the report. May I ask if you see the expected behaviour expect if you switch back to Gutenberg version 16.2?

It would also be great if you could share screenshots (or better, videos) of the different experiences you see in the Patterns/Templates area for each version so we can see a visual comparison.

    Hi:
Are we not able to upload images? Keeps saying insert with url?

    Thanks.

Hey @vytaulla51 – that’s correct. You can use an image service like https://snipboard.io/ and then use the URL it gives you to insert the image.
