Hi Alexander,
official Gutenberg support is projected for the next major WordPress release (5.0) – currently the Gutenberg editor is an optional component which is supposed to be used for testing.
The dedicated EnlighterJS Plugin will be available on GitHub
https://github.com/EnlighterJS/Plugin.Gutenberg
best regards, Andi
Hi Alexander,
the Gutenberg Editor has currently some major issues which doesn’t allow me to create a full features integration. maybe in the next few month.
the current status is available on GitHub: https://github.com/EnlighterJS/Plugin.Gutenberg
Thanks for info, should probably mention somewhere in the plugin
not really… the current Enlighter.Gutenberg plugin is still under development (early phase) and not suitable for any kind of production use.
if it becomes ready it will be integrated into the Enlighter WordPress Plugin like the EnlighterJS.TinyMCE
FYI: its added to the latest beta (3.8.0-BETA1) – https://github.com/EnlighterJS/Plugin.WordPress
Hey Andi,
I have just downloaded the beta version, however, I cannot see any blocks to test out the Gutenberg support. Please, can you advise if I have missed something?
I have enabled the option under the beta tab and taken a look here:
https://github.com/EnlighterJS/Plugin.Gutenberg
Many thanks,
Joel
Hi Joel,
please open a new issue next time 🙂
in which folder did you uploaded the BETA version from GitHub ? the directory structure wp-content/plugins/enlighter/Enlighter.php is mandatory
Thanks for the swift response Andi, that solved the issue for me. :thumbsup
