I can see GZip is enabled for your site ( http://checkgzipcompression.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aurelsystems.com ). The suggestions Google PageSpeed Insights gives for compressionn are related to minification.
I suggest you also install plugins such as WP Super Minify .

OK, thanks. Have installed WP Super Minify. Still some complaints about compression from Google PageSpeed Insights, but scores seem to have improved.
Glad to help you. I appreciate you leave a very positive review (5 stars?) about this plugin. Thanks.
Interestingly, this Google site continues to say that I do not have compression activated, and my scores remain unchanged from last week.

As said above, the suggestions Google gives for compression are related to minification – not GZip.
This article explains the difference between GZip and Minification: https://css-tricks.com/the-difference-between-minification-and-gzipping/
I hope this helps.
I have the same issue here. The compression by WP PSB worked until I changed to php 7.0. After that Google PS (and unfortunately no other test page counts here) says:
(translated from German)
“By compression of the ressources by “gzip” or “deflate” the amount of bytes can be reduced.” (=575kB (87%))
The rating of my page dropped very much by this.
I hope that this fine plugin here worked again, with php7.0, too… I do not know of any other change I made that it should not work any more than that.
I hope you can find a solution. …and, sorry, but “GZIP works” does not help, when Google does not recognize that…
Thanks, Dipak!
@wppraesenz,
You need to make sure GZip is enabled in your PHP config.
@wppraesenz,
Could you create phpinfo.php page and share url please?
