    Hi !

I have some troubles with Gzip compression… This is the error message that your plugin reports to me :
Gzip is not working properly. Your server may not have the “deflate” module enabled (mod_deflate for Apache, ngx_http_gzip_module for NGINX). Contact your host or open a support ticket.

I contacted OVH who said that everything is correct for them and that I must see the problem with plugin support. Can you help me please ?

    Thanks

    Hello @vampire83

    I hope you’re well today!

External testers seem to confirm that gzip compression is already enabled. I’m not however sure about your server configuration:

when checked from outside it responds as nginx but do you know if it’s only nginx or is it nginx + Apache configuration?

Also, despite for that error message what’s the status below it for specific MIME Types? Are they all reported as not cached or just some of them?

What happens if you try to re-check the status of gzip compression in Hummingbird?

    Let us know, please.

    Best regards,
    Adam
