Hi @vireev
Thank you for reporting this issue, but could you kindly provide more details, so we can debug it and fix?
- Which extension was installed alongside with Duplicate Post?
- Where you see these H1 tags? Is it admin area or front-end?
- Could you please provide some screenshots of it?
Our plugin is used by many users and so far, nobody reported anything similar to it. I believe it has to be special case caused by some conflicting plugin. Please if you can do that, provide me list of active plugins on your site, I’ll install them on sandbox in order to test it.
Thank you!

- front. admin? why should I worry about the admin panel? It was at the front and it got into the index and many pages
- all deleted
“nobody reported anything similar to it”
how many people check the page titles in original? I think not so many.

Hi @vireev
I tested it out but actually, I am quite disappointed on myself.
Mentioned by you H1 tag, is included in front-end pages while our plugin is enabled, that’s true. It’s part of template displayed during duplication process.
Nevertheless it’s worth to mention that it’s only visible to users which permissions to use our plugin. Which means, it does not affect SEO or anything like this. Users without access to Duplicate Post plugin (and I assume only admins can access it on your website) can’t see that H1 element, as well as other template parts.
Hope that clarifies your experience.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with 🙂
Thank you!
I have the exact same issue, and yes @iclyde, it’s only visible to users which have permissions to use the plugin.
However it’s still conflicting with the Yoast SEO plugin that will report critical SEO issue when WP editing pages and posts.
It reports usage of multiple <H1> tags even if my content only contain one <H1> tag.
Searching html code using eg. Google Dev tools will report this h1 tag:
class=”cdp-text-overlay“><h1 style=”color: white; font-size: 25px;”>Please wait, copying in progress…
Until this issue is solved I have to Add/Remove the ‘Duplicate Post’ plugin every time I need it 🙁
