Hack for cross-blogging?

I know this has been discussed a few times, but I haven’t found a definitive answer. My hosting provider has fantastico installed, which lets you install many many things with just a couple clicks, including WordPress. The description for it includes this:
WordPress is a personal publishing tool with focus on aesthetics and featuring cross-blog tool, password protected posts, importing, typographical niceties, multiple authors, bookmarklets.
Now I knew about most of those before. I installed wordpress before fantastico was installed on the server, so I did it the hard way (if you can call it hard by any standards). The one I didn’t know about was the cross-blog tool. It doesn’t seem to exist as far as I can tell, so I’m asking here, hoping I’m wrong, because we have a few blogs (all WP) for different purposes, and sometimes cross posting would come in VERY handy.
