Hack to Restore "Skip Step 2"

    Ugh, don’t you just hate it when developers decide to randomly remove a useful option, like the “Skip Step 2” option in Duplicator, especially given the fact that Step 2 times out on your own server. To enforce “Skip Step 2” in Duplicator 0.5.4+, open file “/duplicator/views/packages/new1.inc.form.php” and replace:

    ?page=duplicator&tab=new2

    with:

    ?page=duplicator&tab=new3

    (P.S. Otherwise, I love Duplicator and I appreciate the developers’ free work.)

    Hey Namibia,

    Actually that won’t work correctly. The scanner is now required as that is where the list generation process is created for the scan report. This process helps to speed up the overall build time and will be used for future work. I didn’t want to remove it, but the overall process is more stable this way, sorry for the inconvenience.
