Hacked???

The owners of a website I manage contacted me that in the menu on the mobile version of their website, when you open it there’s a long string of characters instead of the menu item. The menu behaves fine on the desktop version.

I took a look and that seems to be the case, but since I didn’t design the site (the designers are long gone and it’s a custom template) I have NO idea how to fix this. Could someone please take a look at the site on their mobile device and let me know if they have any ideas? Thanks!
